中谷総理大臣補佐官のスイス訪問

中谷総理大臣補佐官は、３月１日から３月４日の日程で、スイス（ジュネーブ）を訪問したところ、概要は以下のとおりです。
１ 第５２回人権理事会ハイレベル・セグメントにおけるステートメント
３月２日午前、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、第５２回人権理事会ハイレベル・セグメントでステートメントを実施しました。

２ 国際機関関係者との意見交換
（１） ３月１－３日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、ヴァーツラフ・バレク国連人権理事会議長、ヴォルカ―・ターク国連人権高等弁務官（ＯＨＣＨＲ）、グランディ国連難民高等弁務官（ＵＮＨＣＲ）、ジルベール・ウングボ国際労働機関（ＩＬＯ）事務局長、ジャガン・チャパゲイン国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟（ＩＦＲＣ）事務総長とそれぞれ会談し、ウクライナ情勢を含む国際人権問題や「ビジネスと人権」を始めとする人権分野等に関する協力について意見交換を行いました。
各会談相手からは、国際人権分野における日本の取組や日本のウクライナ支援、トルコ南東部を震源とする地震被害への支援に対する謝意と更なる協力への期待が示されました。
（２） ３月１日及び３日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、ジュネーブの国連機関で活躍する邦人職員と面会し、国連において日本の存在感を高めていく観点からの意見交換を行うとともに、国際機関の活動についてヒアリングを行いました。
３ 各国政府関係者との意見交換
（１） ３月１－３日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、ラフマン・バングラデシュ常駐代表、レ・ベトナム常駐代表、フィリペンコ・ウクライナ常駐代表、アルナティラカ・スリランカ代表とそれぞれ意見交換を行いました。各会談相手とは、「ビジネスと人権」を始めとする国際人権分野で緊密に連携していくことで一致しました。
（２） ３月２日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、ウクライナと連帯を示すために、ウクライナ代表のステートメントを傍聴しました。

Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mr. NAKATANI Gen, visited Switzerland (Geneva) March 1- 4. The overview of the visit is as follows.
1 Statement at the High-Level Segment of the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council
On the morning of March 2, Special Advisor NAKATANI delivered a statement at the High-Level Segment of the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council.

2 Exchange of views with officials of international organizations
(1) On March 1-3, Special Advisor NAKATANI met with H.E.Mr Václav Bálek, President of the UN Human Rights Council, H.E. Mr Volker Türk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), H.E. Mr. Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), H.E. Mr Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), H.E. Mr Jagan Chapagain, Secretary General of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Each of them expressed their appreciation for Japan's efforts in the field of international human rights, Japan's support to Ukraine, and assistance to the victims of the earthquake in southeastern Turkey and Syria, as well as their expectations for further cooperation.
(2) Special Advisor NAKATANI met with Japanese officials working in UN agencies in Geneva, exchanged views from the perspective of enhancing Japan's presence in the UN, and held hearings on the activities of international organizations.
3 Exchanges of views with Government officials of various countries
(1) On March 1-3, Special Advisor NAKATANI exchanged views with H.E. Mr. Mohammad Sufiur RAHMAN, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh, Mrs. LE Thi Tuyet Mai, Permanent Representative of Vietnam, H.E. Ms. Yevheniia FILIPENKO, Permanent Representative of Ukraine, and H.E. Mrs. Himalee Subhashini ARUNATILAKA, Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka respectively. The participants shared the view to work closely with each other in the field of international human rights, including "business and human rights”.
(2) On March 2, Special Advisor NAKATANI listened to the statement of the representative of Ukraine in order to show solidarity with Ukraine.
