令和４年３月１７日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、パルド駐日コロンビア共和国大使による表敬訪問を受けました。

両者は、ウクライナ情勢を含む世界における人権の保護・促進に向けた取組について意見交換を行いました。パルド大使からは、ベネズエラにおける人権状況について説明がありました。

また、両者は、今後も国際人権問題について日・コロンビア間で緊密に協力していくことで一致しました。

On March 17 2022, Mr. NAKATANI Gen, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Santiago Pardo, Ambassador of Colombia to Japan.

Both sides exchanged views on efforts to protect and promote human rights in the international community, including the situation in Ukraine. Ambassador Pardo explained the human rights situation in Venezuela.

Both sides also shared the intention to continue to cooperate closely on international human rights issues between Japan and Colombia.
